Welcome to My Every Day

It is in the every day that we live our lives with the hope of tomorrow. We can have things perfectly planned, envision the future as if it were playing out like a Netflix feature. One day it might be adventure. On other days we feel sci-fi is interrupting the norm of our culture. I like days of comedy when there isn’t a care in the world and we can eat popcorn without the worry of choking on a kernel.

And then there are days of drama. I think drama is the genre people live in most often. Honestly, the simple life hasn’t been in my vocabulary for quite some time. Drama is hard to face, it’s heartbreaking, tear jerking, it can be totally overwhelming, and it feels like a roller coaster ride. Did I mention I hate roller coasters? Drama can also bring joy and allow you to see yourself for who you truly are as God created you.

In the every day, we either deal with life alone and life becomes the dreaded white-knuckle roller coaster ride, or you grasp hold of Jesus, throwing your arms in the air, while allowing Him to take the lead guiding you to a peaceful, joyful life. I didn’t say easy or without drama, just peaceful and joyful. It’s a choice each of us have to make in the every day.

In His Grace,  Tammie
